Snehalaya will provide JCB/Poclain machines to villages participating in the Water Cup 2019 from the funds that it was able to raise for this purpose. Every rupee that you donated has gone towards this effort. The cost of supporting one village’s machine requirements was around Rs One lakh. 

Donations closed at 17:00 IST on Monday 13 May. A huge thank you to all the supporters who donated and volunteered their time to help make villages across Maharashtra water-abundant. The final villages qualifying for earth-moving machinery will be drawn on Toofan Aalaya on Saturday 18 May. You can see the full list of village who have benefited so far here.

Indian tax payers are entitled to 80G Income Tax exemption on 50% of donations.


To obtain a receipt for tax exemption and if you wish to specify where your donation is spent, please email with the following information:

1) Full Name, Address, Email ID and Telephone Number

2) PAN Number

3) Amount of Donation


Donors paying in foreign currency who wish for a tax receipt should email with the following information:
