The Snehalaya Premier League (SPL) 2024 came to a thrilling conclusion with both the men's and women's finals showcasing some fantastic cricketing talent.
In the women's final, Secretary 11 and Sunshine 11 battled it out for the trophy. Secretary 11 emerged victorious by a narrow margin of 5 runs, with Ashwini Gaikwad being named the Player of the Match for her outstanding performance. Payal Shinde of Secretary 11 was awarded the Best Batsman accolade, while Pooja Zine of Sunshine 11 was recognized as the Best Bowler.
On the men's side, it was a final showdown between Relax 11 and Mindfull 11. Mindfull 11 clinched the title with a convincing 7-wicket victory. Ashok Akolkar was named the Player of the Tournament for his consistently impressive performances throughout the competition. Ashok Chindhe of Mindfull 11 stood out as the Best Batter, while Sarthak of Tally 11 was honored as the Best Bowler.
The tournament would not have been possible without the hard work of the Umpire, Chaitanya Kholgade, and his team, as well as the dedication of the Organizer, Sanjay Chabukswar, and the HR Department at Snehalaya. The commentary team, including Pravin Mutyal, Priti Bhombe, Hanif Shaikh, Sandip Kshirsagar, and Shyam Asawa, also played a vital role in bringing the SPL matches to life.
