Nelson Mandela once said: “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.” Teachers play a major role in imparting education paramount in both the present and future of a student.
Our Snehalaya English Medium School teachers and students celebrated Guru Purnima in honor and appreciation of our teachers. The day starteed with students singing the school prayer and recognition of the day as being auspicious and a day to be grateful and humble. The Rushi Ved Vyas and the myth behind the celebration of Guru Pournima were shared and there was worship and garland offers made to the photo of Ved Vyas. The children also delivered speeches focusing on Gurus and the teachers also expressed their opinions on their Gurus.
