At the end of July, a free medical camp at our SK Halbe Balbhavan in Sanjay Nagar was held with Drs Ghule and Gandhi providing check ups to 38 residents of the slum.
As well as the free medical consultations and examinations, patients were also provided with free-of-cost medicines. The camp was held in response to increased rain and viral infections such as colds, coughs, fevers and limb pains for those living in the area.
At the same time, the weight and height of 88 of our Balbhavan children were also checked. The doctors also provided information about why we get diseases, what should be done to increase weight and height and they also shared home remedies for avoiding health problems.
