Indian women face a host of issues around healthcare which are intrinsically linked to their status in society.
As part of our Women's Month activities a women's health camp was help at Ahmednagar Community Health Center, jointly run by Schneider Electric and Snehalaya, from 21 to 24 March. Renowned Ahmednagar gynecologists, Doctors Deepali Pathare and Rupali Jhaware, conducted free check-ups of over 70 women, including pregnant mothers Blood, urine and other free tests related specifically to women's health issues were also provided free of cost to all from Kushtdham Road, Pipeline Road and Snehalaya.
Following the camp, Dr Rishabh Firodia, Director of the Center, appealed to all citizens to avail themselves of the low cost facilities. Dr Deepali Pathare and Dr Prachi Wable, Center Coordinator thanked Rupali Jhaware who promised to run future camps.
Ahmednagar Community Health Center has a range of specialist doctors who conduct free check-ups and treatments at subsidised cost. The Center is open 10 am to 6 pm, Monday to Saturday.
