Children from Snehalaya and 17 other children's homes in our district celebrated the district-level Chacha Nehru Bal Mahotsav at our Rehab Center. This event was organised by the Women and Child Development Office in collaboration with Snehalaya.
Our honourable Collector, Siddaram Salimath, expressed the administration's unwavering commitment to supporting the growth of children and emphasised the significance of nurturing their talents and ensuring their overall development. Recognising that children are the future of our country, he stressed the importance of providing them with ample opportunities to showcase their skills. He also encouraged children to actively participate in various competitions and embrace their artistic qualities. He added that participation is more important than winning, as it helps build confidence.
Municipal Corporation Commissioner, Pankaj Javale, District Women and Child Development Officer, B.B. Varudkar, and other esteemed guests joined Snehalaya President, Jayate Jogdand, in commending the children for their active participation and encouraged them to fully enjoy the nurturing environment provided during the event.
