"Social organizations have maintained the social health and harmony of Maharashtra"
Amit Thackeray, youth leader, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena

Following the announcement of Snehalaya English Medium School’s shortlisting in the top ten of the World’s Best Schools Prize, Amit Thackeray was very keen to visit our school to observe our education system and interact with our teachers and students. During his July visit, he saw our geography garden, computer science department, music room, sports department, library, various laboratories, employment skill development centre and agriculture school.

He shared that our school is the pride of our country, providing quality education and state-of-the-art facilities, free of cost to the most deprived sections of society. He also called for more political workers to give priority to supporting social work through organizations such Snehalaya.

Akhil Chitre, Keerthi Kumar Shinde, Sachin Dafal, Sumit Verma, Advocate Anita Dighe and other activists also joined Mr Thackeray on his visit learning more about the work of our school and other projects.
