51 Shining Stars

Today we celebrated the success of our 12 std students living in our childcare institute.

We are so proud of all of our students who again delivered a 100% pass rate in their higher secondary certificates. We firmly believe that education is key to breaking the cycles of poverty and exploitation and are happy that these young people have received the education and qualifications that will help them succeed in whatever their futures hold.

We had a total of seven boys and ten girls sit their exams this year, with our top boy securing 71 in commerce and our top girl 69.83% in arts. Passing with such flying colors, showcases their dedication and hard work.

Meanwhile in our seven Balbhavan centers, 41 students also appeared for their exams with 83% passing. Of those 27 students were in the arts stream, five in commerce and nine were studying in the science stream. Our top boy scored 74.33% and our top girl attained 70.67%, both in arts. Our top science students secured 70% and our top commerce student obtained 53.33%.

While their success remains down to the commitment of our students, often in adverse and challenging situations, the staff, parents and supporters encouraging them should also take some credit. They also put in special efforts to nurture and guide the students towards excellence, helping them achieve remarkable success.

This success highlights the transformative impact of education, nurturing and support on underprivileged children, paving the way for a brighter future for them.
