Meet our trustees

Our Board is comprised of social workers and activists, beneficiaries, including female sex workers, and local business people best placed to guide and govern us.

Our current trustees were appointed on 26 December 2023 and will serve a five-year term. We are incredibly proud that our board is largely made up of women who reflect our beneficiaries and are well-placed to empower our women and children.

Dr Priti Bhombe

Secretary

A medical doctor by profession, Priti was in private practice and managing a hospital with her father for 15 years before joining Snehalaya. Priti switched from medicine to the creative field as a producer, Radio Jockey and programming head for our Radio Nagar from 2011 to 2015. In 2016, she joined the fundraising and communications team, significantly increasing the corpus, reserved and project funds. In May 2022, she was promoted to Director responsible for fundraising, public relations, volunteer management, visitor and event management.
Priti says: “Snehalaya has widened my horizons… It has helped me to gain confidence take on new challenges.”
