Mr. Suvalal Shingavi, the president of Snehalaya.  He is a farmer by profession and Gandhian by philosophy. Singhvi spends most of his time involved in social service activites. Children at Snehalaya treat him like their loving grand father. Mr Singhvi helps the team in policy making and co-ordination across different functions. With his enthusiasm we are able to start several new projects. He also helps establishing relationships with government agencies and supporters of Snehalaya.

Dr. Girish Mahadev Kulkarni started his work in social service, since the age of 19.  At a young age, he decided to spend his life for betterment and upliftment of the most neglected sections of the society. For over 20 years, Girish and his team of zealous volunteers are rescuing and rehabilitating childen and women from commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking. Dr. Kulkarni established Snehalaya in 1989. He started providing shelter to children in his own home. Today, Snehalaya is a haven of hope in Ahmednagar district for  thousands of children in slums,  HIV patients, commercially exploited children and women, homeless children to find dignity in their lives. Girish is presently working as a Hon. Director of Snehalaya. Eminently qualified in the feild, Girish also teaches Sociology and Political science to college students. Dr Girish is the guiding force for the entire team at Snehalaya.

Milind Kulkarni, B.A.M.S.W. Secretary, is an industrialist, working with Snehalaya since its inception. Milind has injected a professional approach across all the projects and members of Snehalaya. He has changed the definition of social work in Snehalaya. Milind presently handles the administration and accounts of Snehalaya.

Prajakta  G. Kulkarni, M.A.M.S.W. ,Director, Snehankur Adoption Center, is responsible for overall functioning of the Snehankur Adoption Centre. She coordinates with other projects of Snehalaya and works for raising funds and creating awareness about adoption in the society. She also coordinate for all the economic, social and rehabilitation activities of Snehalaya.

Experience  :  6 years of experience in field of adoption and 12 years of experience in social work. She has been  working with Snehalaya for 14 years.

Rajendra Shukre, Hon. Director,  Snehalaya-ChildLine, is responsible for the overall management and administration of ChildLine. He also over sees the financial aspects of the project. He guides the team on child rights protection, to help children in distress, establish advocacy with the police, and to co ordinate with external departments such as judiciary, health, and other Government and Non Government departments.

Rajiv Gujar Hon. Director, Balbhavan Project,  is responsible for the smooth functioning of all the 5 branches of Balbhavan in Ahmednagar city. He oversees the community development plan and motivates the team for effective implementation.  He also over sees the financial aspects of the project.

Sanjay Adhav, Hon. Director,  Snehalaya’s Center of Hope (I.T. Center), is working to ensure that the center enables poor, deprived students to get good quality, job oriented computer education. He also oversees the selection of courses, appointment of instructors and proper utilisation of the center.

Ambadas is responsible for coordinating across all the projects of Snehalaya, monitoring and evaluating them. Having spent 6 years at Snehalaya, he is our 'problem solver' and takes up any role required. He has great enthusiasm to initiate new projects and takes them to completion. He maintains relationships with funding agencies, donors and communicates regularly with the various members across the Snehalaya family.

Ajay Wable, M.A.M.S.W., Project Manager, Snehankur Adoption Center, is responsible for planning the center's activities, counseling adoptive parents and completing the legal adoption process. He evaluates the home study report of the all adoptive parents and represents Snehankur in the court for the petitions and registration.
